This is the soundtrack for The Red Book which is a 60 minute ambient piece designed as a series of patterns in sound and video that overlap and never quite repeat. It operates using the same design principles as wallpaper and rewards partial attention, or maniacally focused full attention. It is composed from audiovisual field recordings from Montserrat Monastery in the hills behind Barcelona, home of the famous Red Book manuscript.
